Local projects supported by the FundyCarbonFund© will include the re-vegetation and stabilization of stream and wetland riparian zones through the planting of shrubs and trees native to the region, the expansion of anti-idling programs, and the advancement of alternative transportation opportunities for our community. All projects supported by the FundyCarbonFund© will follow ACAP Saint John’s proven philosophy of leveraging maximal community support through the use of volunteers, in-kind corporate donations and grant contributions. Additionally, we will ensure your contributions go as far as possible by coordinating our carbon offset projects with other sustainable development initiatives in the region to subsequently improve fish and wildlife habitat, aesthetics and the overall integrity of our natural capital. The FundyCarbonFund© is a sure way to help you think global, and act local.
